The vacuum tube comprises of an inner tube, an outer tube, a selective absorption layer, a vacuum space and absorption layer. The outer wall of the inner tube has the selective absorption layer, which absorbs 99% of the suns energy. Both inner tube and outer tube are made from extremely strong borosilicate glass. The outer tube is transparent allowing light rays to penetrate through with minimum reflection.
